Yes, it can stress out your coral, thus hurting their color and growth rate, but usually won't be enough to kill them. The most common issue people have in the alk and calcium levels get to high is that they will precipitate out of solution, thus going from high levels to much lower than ideal levels quickly.

so what do u think is that extremely high?

Those levels aren't anywhere near high enough to the point that corals start showing signs of stress. Simple water changes or just waiting it to come down on its own are your best options.

If your doeing cut back a little. Your in safe level. Mag. isnt really important if you have a yough low stocked tank. I wouls worry more about phosphate ,Alk ,nitrate and ammonia and PH and DKh.
