I don't know what sps means:ico n14: please don't think I'm an idiot. i fell like a newby again, lol. one step at a time right. as you might guess I'm now researching reef and beginning. I'm sure too have loads of ?.
if this has been answered sorry, I did a search for star polyps and couldn't find much. I'm going to reed the coral threads now thanks.

"LPS"stands for Large Polyp Stony, and "SPS" stands for Small Polyp Stony found meaning

just how strong of a current shound it have. i know it say mod- high, but can I have it in a direct current

Mine gets pretty high water flow.Be carful of where you place your star polyps.They spread really fast and can be difficult to remove.

it's just now coming out. It's tiny now and cost 18. that the best you get here with out ordering on line

they are just soft corals thats all. not a sps or lps or leather. and yes you can cut them back. i used a brand new razor blade. and the pieces i cut off i just give away.

I bought a piece 6" X 3" for $100 the other day. I hope it will fill the rock I put it on & then I will worry about trimming.
