| That way you stop it is to cut off the affected area, be sure to cut off into the good area so you are sure to have a healthy piece you plan on saving. Do a iodine dip before and after cutting, and be sure to sterilize whatever you plan on using to cut it with. |

| there is no way your parameter are good, not with those algea bloom's, temps were way to high one, whats a list of your equiptment, 4 months isnt a mature tank at all. what test kits are you using ? using ro-di water ect ? |

| umm hang on the tank refugium, 100gal protien skimmer, and two 850 gpm power heads. but yeah for sure it was the temp bleaching it out. i had a defective heater at the time that wouldn't turn off... lesson learned, dont buy rena. oh and i'm using the reef master test kit by API, i know i should buy a better one. |

| I agree that it is RTN and in the case possibly caused by excessive nitrates / phosphates. Other possibilities could be low flow, and high temperatures.
