how u all,

i have 1 finger leather in my tank that i recieved on saturday i must say that the power has been off almost 24 hours and the power been on for 6 hours now only,stupid town i live in,

anyway my finger leather is hanging downwards and hasnt straighten up yet,its colours seems to be getting better you think it will lift up in a day or 2 ? my new star polyps that i got also hasnt opened yet maybe becasue of the shock becsaue of the new tank and then power being of more than 24 hours,temp went down to 20 degrees everything else like my shrooms and zoanthids are doing nicely..

Im not a moderator but next time you might want to post questions like these in the New to the hobby forum. More people will see it and be able to help you that way.

Power going off for 24 hours can cause serious issues especially with that large of a temp drop. Glad to hear some of the things in your tank are doing fine. You will just have to wait it out on the leather. Time will tell. Make sure all your pumps are on and maybe break the water on the surface of your tank to make sure and add some oxygen to it. Give the leather some good flow and see what happens.

What about fish? Any inverts?

got 1 tamatoe clown and 1 fire goby,few hermits cleaner shrimp and a boxing shrimp all doing fine now...
