Im curious as too why not too many People vote. I mean with 12000+ members you'd think the numbers would be a little higher. I think we should find a way to get more people voting in these TOTM threads!

I agree! If you look at some of the older TOTM voting threads each person has 60's 70's and 80's amount of people that voted for them!

i think people might not scroll all the way through the threads to vote... may not see it. Maybe Ryan can "highlight it" the way the contest is highlighted at the top in Red text, and a link right there... who knows... maybe more people would see it!

Im sure a lot of the members are like myself, They were on fire about this site then some bad apples out there hurt there spirit by playing down others concerns or name calling. Thats what happen to me anyways. I am here. I just dont talk anymore...

Well I am not aware of what happened! I do know that you have been Missed. It's a damn shame that anyones spirit is crushed here. We are all learning here and Participation and Debating is how we all learn. Some of us are better debaters than others. What I mean is Expression and Interpretation play big roles in a forum. I am sure that everyone has seen kids fight in the street then be playing again the next day like it never happened. RB is a Family and we as a whole have our Ups and Downs. Hopefully we can all learn and grow together!



There are quite a few members out there whose participation has been missed. It is the people who bring change. What else can I say about a site full of people I believe in!

I have friends here that I would never have known if not for RB and that is all of you! To anyone else who may feel the same way as Tonz, please shake it off.

I remember I used to be a big contributor on here...put up 500 posts in 2 weeks helping everyone, advice was good too but I would get bashed in the forums by people who didn't like my methods of buffer agents etc. (ironically they aren't here anymore ) but now i've gotten back into the forums!

Sorry for this JV but if you disagree with the wrong people here and voice your opinion you can be an outcast in a hurry.

I was called a legend in my own mind, like a four year old, silly and a turd...all by mods. I was told members were complaining about my posting. If you were a member and I sounded harsh Im sorry you felt that way. I run thru the site every few days and see where some of the members have grown in the hobby and their tanks are looking better all the time. Hope to see TOTM grow here at RB. Posting on salt forums is one way of contributing to the salt hobby. I applaud those that are experienced and knowledgeable that do.
