Default A great selection of clams!

I was just looking at the website for a local online coral dealer, and noticed that he has posted a great selection of beautiful clams. The colors are striking!

If you are looking for something different, check out:

Zoanuts

(I am not affilaited with this dealer in any way.)

I went over to Zoanuts this afternoon and walked away with a 4-1/2" black and white teardrop maxima - my gosh it's stunning. He has quite a selection.

Being local, I don't have to pay shipping, so those prices never concerned me, but he says he charges $35 shipping plus $10 box fee. Orders over $250 ship free, plus the $10 box charge.

His website has pictures of his clams (WYSIWYG) and he is getting another 60 or so clams next week. Website address in post #1.

I am not associated with zoanuts in anyway, other than being an occasional local customer.

If you're looking for some nice sized specimens with beautiful color, you might check him out.

P.S. - Upon close examination, I saw no evidence of gaping...I spent over an hour examining the many Maxima, Deresa and Crocea clams he has in his tanks. They looked pretty darn healthy to me. Zoanuts is a small enough operation that he cares for his animals as well as if not better then what we place in our display tanks...
