I have a nice crocea clam on my rock work, now my BTA has moved really close to him. should i give it a little more time or should i pull the BTA off of that rock?

No give it time.The clam can close if he wants and the BTA will probably move around anyway.

If the BTA doesnt move and starts to touch the clam I would move the clam to a better spot. The BTA will move where ever he wants could be an endless battle to get him to stay in one area. If hes moving now hes probly not happy with something. The clam wont even mind.

just an update. The BTA ended moving lower in the tank. probably too much light. The BTA is now in a whole in a rock looking pretty happy. clown fish found him so everything is good. thanks guys!

Future thought,

If you clam is attached to the substrate (live rock) move the rock if you have to. Don't remove the clam unless you have to. If you do use scisors to cut the fibre anchor.

Glad the bt moved on.
