Ok,

It has been a while since I have been online to post... Sorry,

The previously ill/ fading clam is back! better then ever. The final tally is about 6 months (give or take have to look at the post to remember when i started havin issues) of nitrate loading the tank and a second 250w metal halide. I have to be honest though, the real kicker to the recovery of the fading was the second halide. Pics will follow.

My Camera is still bunk. As far as the clam tank goes, still holding well at 15 clams. I am seeing some massive growth rates on these critters. I actually had to remove some of the live rock in order to make more room. The Big guys were starting to get crowded. Im thinking that it's time to increase the tank size. Just not sure on how to go about doing it. There are a couple of options. Im leaning to designing my own shallow reef bed.

I have run out of space in my house though. So im thinkin i may have to rip down some tanks.

Hello all.

Back after a brief down time. As it stands the majority of things going well. I did have a couple of losses about two months ago. I chalk it up to some crabby crabs. Fear not I harpooned the little *******s when I finally managed to see them. Since then no further clam losses. I did get a really nice purple maxima to soften the greif over the losses encountered.

Oddly enough i am struggling a bit with some hair grass. New round of bulbs have stopped the spread. Now im just endlessly pluckin.

How are things out there on the clam front?
