 white shell that opens and closes I just found a small clam, scallop, mollusks or some type of muscle it opens and closes but I can't see what it looks like inside. I got that rock in jan. it is the best i have and new life is busting out every where. I wish I could give more for Id but not pos. at the time being. the shell is all white and not wavy like the clams i've seen. the shell has straight edged Last edited by dori9941; 09-10-2008 at 02:20 AM..  |

| Re: white shell that opens and closes You are correct in some type of mollusk, clam or muscle, can and do hitch in on live rock. Cool cleaner - water filter type critter that you should leave alone and let it do it's thing.
