Default hitchhiker

i found a hitchhiker on one of my live rocks. i believe i identified it as a type of spotted limpet. there's way too many different kinds of limpets. what's not clear is if it's ok in my tank. another thing that's not clear is if all or just some types have poisonous harpoon like stinging tentacles. i've heard of freshwater limpets but not saltwater ones. does anyone know about these odd creatures? should i take it out of my tank?

in my tank:
live rock
live sand
1 humu trigger
1 dwarf lion
1 porcupine puffer
1 blue hippo tang
1 foxface
1 maroon clown
1 chocolate chip starfish
1 emerald crab
4 spotted snails
4 brown cone snails
2 red crabs

Default Re: hitchhiker

I'd leave it alone. I have a limpet in one of my tanks and I have had no problems.
