| here's a shot I took of my crocea's today, boy did they open up wide !! ![]() and here's my new maxima, yet to open wide but its gettin there, I gotta bury the pvc into the sand when I get a chance to get my canopy off, I cant reach down enough, lol anyways heres a somewhat descent pic, I love the different color pattern compared to my croceas.. all I need now is a nice squamosa or a gigas ![]() |

| Yeh i research about 2 months on a expensive(that has a chance of dying) product before i buy it I will probly eventully get a bigger tank with MH, but for now i am going to stick with my 29g since the electric bill would go way ^up^. |

| That's a beautiful teardrop maxima clam. I like the two croceas and they look like they haven't burrowed to deep in your sandbed yet. Squamosas are easier to take care of than both the maxima and crocea species. Are you feeding them with anything such as DT's Phyto? I recommend feeding them once to twice a week with that to ensure proper health and growth. |
