 age determination Just brought home a beautiful blue crocea - how do I determine how old he is? I am wanting to add a page of its info into my book I've started for all my additions- but want to also see how long he will live. Do you count the ridges on the shell? (like the rings of a tree) Does anyone know- pls help thanks!

Re: age determination  OH! Sorry Bob, didn't think anyone had visited this comment, so I forgot to check back again. (sorry)According to the owner of the LFS where I bought him, he can only tell me for sure about a year old. He said he can't swear it is like 12 months or 9 months- said safe to say a year old. So......... next year I will just consider him 2 yrs and go from there. I just wanted to know for my own record keeping- so in 10yrs I can say - this is (haven't come up with a GOOD name yet) can you believe he's "10 yrs old"?  silly huh?Thanks for replying!

| Re: age determination Thanks! He is doing great. He really likes the zooplex, but have read it is best to 'change it up abit', like alternating the phytoplex, zooplex, chromplex, coral-accel & microvert-- so getting a bottle of ech to keep him on his toes!
