I live South of Chicao- zip code 60929- I would like to buy some mushroom and coral frags but the pet store prices in our area are really high. Plus my husband is going to shoot me if I spend much more on this fish tank. LOL I would like to be able to drive to pick them up. I live within an hours drive of Joliet, Kankakee, or Bloomington. As you can guess I am new to the hobby. I have a 50 gallon tank that has been set up for about 4 months. Live rock/ sand...a couple of mushrooms and corals a bubbletip and a maroon clown. all are doing great. Just finished getting a 20 gallon sump/fuge set up for the tank!! If anyone has any corals/shroons they would like to part with please let me know. Thanks a bunch!!!

an lil over a hours drive from bloomington is springfield, Here we only have 1 lfs I belive they are getting a huge shippment this tuesday and having a 2 day big sale after that, I belive it is called FISH MAN PET CENTER, ps dont buy any fish from them after I bought mine each time i go in I see atleast 1 dead or sick fish. However there reef n coral display tanks are always looking good full of what appears to be heathly stuff. anyhow I plan to go and check it out if ya like i can get some prices for you. most of the stuff ive seen there typically runs between $15-$40 bucks a rock that has 2-3 diff things on it might run ya $50, not sure on the shrooms but I can keep an eye out for ya and post what I find.

also How was it setting up your fuge/sump was it your first one? I want to do one just not sure how, What is the difficutly level in this?

i made my own fuge.

VERY makeshift, but gets the job done!
