Default goo coming from zoo?

woke this morning to see zoos having some goo coming out of their mouths, typically if they are shedding a layer its coming from the polyp stem and is white, not their mouths and not blackish.... below is tank parameters and attached photo.

Tank Size - 10 Gal Nano Tank
Lighting - Orbit Power Compact Light Fixture with One 40 Watt Dual Actinic Lamp (460nm/420nm) and one 40 Watt Dual Daylight Lamp (10,000K/6700K), One lunar light, 3" fan for ventilation.
Power Heads - I have two small ones that are rated for a ten gal tank. One is a stationary aqua-clear 20 and the other is a zoo med rotating head. The stationary created a circular flow around the tank but the rotating head intercepts that and makes the low turbulent. My leathers look good in it as it will cause them to move back and forth.
Filters - 1 Aqua clear 30 filter and 1 Nano Remora Protein Skimmer.
Temp - Always stays at 78, never seen it fluctuate.
Water - i use prepared water from the store or i have a deionizer for my top off water
calcium - 500
ammonia - 0
nitrate - 0
nitrite - 0
ph - 8.2
salinity - 1.023

Fish - 1 Royal Gramma (he’s a jerk, can’t put other fish with him…)
Invertebrates - 18 Snails (6 Astrea, 2 bumblebee, 2 Margarita, 2 Nassarius,5 Nerite, 1 Tonga Fighting Conch) 3 Sexy Shrimp. 1 Pom Pom Crab, 2 Blue Claw Hermit Crabs, 1 Flame Scallop, 1 Very Happy Crocea Clam.
Corals - Mushrooms (Blue, Purple, Red, Hairy Green) Orange Ricordea, White Leather, Green Leather, Blue Waikiki, Organ Pipe, 3 Zooanthids (purple, Atomic Green, Eagle Eye), Alien Moon Favia, Alien Maze Brain (this has sweepers that are VERY small), Clove Polyp, Wisker coral
Feeding - i feed my fish either frozen brine shrimp or blood worms once a day. Only enough for him or the shrimp to eat completely in 1-2 min. I then add a drop of iodine daily, calcium if needed to maintain level, plankton 3 times a week that i use a squirter for to apply directly to those that want it, only one drop each, and then 2 times a week trace elements with using a squerter to directly feed the wisker coral.

looks to me as if they're expelling their zooxanthellae. Usually a brownish colored substance. Typically caused by inadequate/too much lighting, or just a massive change in lighting.

Well its been a wile since i posted this and they actually have done it a few times since and are doing better than ever. After they do it they freaking enlarge so im guessing its a positive thing. Perhaps its how they shed a layer?!?

my zoo's used to do this as well... My lighting schedule had remained the same and they started to do this at least 2 months after I first got them. There wa not a drastic change in my lighting. Not to say that maybe the lighting was too much. I dont know what it is either, but my zoo's seem to be doing just fine.
