Whats the lighting needed to hve zoos. I run an orbit dual 65 watt daylight 10000and 6700k with dual actinic 460nm and 420nm. how long should my tank be established before I introduce them into it.

your tank needs to be fully cultured before you introduce any livestock or corals.

im assuming you have LR and some sort of substrate on the bottom, with all of this, id give it a week or 2? worked for me.

as for lighting needs, it depends on tank size, depth.
if its under 16 inches in depth (from top to bottom) then your golden for softies. I have 2 limes, 1 gold zoa, 2 finger leathers, xenia under 60 watts of t8 lighting. so that shows, zoa's arwe very easy to please.

look for some lime green paly's very cool looking polyp!! also finger leathers, very cool.

Zoos have varied lighting requirements, and from what I've read, the lighter colored ones prefer to be closer to the lights, and the darker ones like to be further away from the light. Be careful with the palythoas.

Easy and under the right conditions they spread quickly...they'll spread anyway, but under the right conditions you will be fragging like a mad monkey!
