| From what I have read, zoanthids can't move themselves. They can spread through asexual reproduction. It is possible that the frag was knocked over by something else. It happens fairly regularly. This is why though some inverts are supposed to be considered "reef safe" like Turbo Snails, they have a habit of crawling on things you don't want them to and knocking things over because they have not been secured to the rock. |

| just about all my leather corals mushrooms zoos all move if it has a foot on the bottom and isnt a stony coral it can move. Usualy it moves really slow over days or weeks to move just an inch or so. I have had them move into better current or out from a shadow of a nother coral. My large finger leather is moving off of the side of one rock and onto the flat shelf rock below its been 3 weeks since it started and still has some more to go. |

| aptasia, and zoa's, nothing alike. my lime's just did the exact same thing 2 days ago, i was kinda worried, but when i looked closer, the other lime i had wich hadnt been out since i bought it last week, was out in full force. and the other lime, had its polyps extended huge. i think it was my flow, prolly the same for you. it worked for the better i guess no complaints here.
