Default purple people eaters

i've had four polyps of purple people eaters for a few months now and within the last month the green "skirt" around the edges has turned purple like the middle except for tiny hints here and there that the "skirt" was green. any thoughts on why the green has turned mostly purple? no change in tank parameters.

Good ??? on the PPE. hahaha but no answer. What I will say is that I know some one that has 100s of zoa frags and rocks they sell commercially and the colors are always changing for him. Not just when he enters them into his tanks for the first time but on a contiuous basis. Hes lighting will both t5 and MH and same thing happens from time to time. Maybe some one here can help us out.

Those aren't PPE's... just regular PE's... But sometimes the lighting will change the zooanxthellae (sp?) in the polys. Here is an example of my PPE's under 10k and then under 20k. You can see a ton of difference in the green.
