Hydor Responds to Tunze Nano streams with Nano of their own
Posted November 13th, 2007 by Ryan
Hydor isn’t one to sit back and let Tunze recent nano streams to take over the nano market in water movers. So what do they do? Offer a “nano” version of their Koralia pumps which pushes a measily 240 GPH. However, you could purchase a Tunze Nanostream 6025 that pushes 660 GPH for about $65 through your local fish store or online. Which would you pick?

When they say “nano” they aren’t kidding — 240gph isn’t very much at all, even for a small tank. I have a Koralia 2 in my 20H nano, and it provides a nice gentle flow; anything smaller would be too little. Maybe this is for the 5gal-and-under crowd?
This is for the 10-15 gallon crowd.
