see-thru-zebra-fish

You’ve probably seen, see thru frogs and other animals, but this zebra fish is the first of its kind. Scientists use transparent zebrafish to study internal organs and disease progression in living organisms. They want to see how diseases like cancer spread thru the body. That is nice and all, but geesh get that little guy some clothes to put on!

Danio! My least favorite FW fish ever ;) . Wonder why use a danio as opposed to a Chandra, which seem more transparent than that pic up there. Also wonder if it’s like mice bred for science, with similar genetic make-up? Interesting post… off to google to find more info…
