PowerBrite lighting system by Current
Posted February 8th, 2008 by Ryan
In what should be the first of many lighting systems released with LED’s, current released their PowerBrite system. This looks like a strip light with 1 watt LEDs claiming to have 50-60 lumens per watt. This system is supposed to be used in conjunction with a fluorescent or compact fluorescent systems. These will retail below $100. This is a great addition to those that want the “shimmering” effect that normal Metal Halides give off.
- Adds the shimmering effect of metal halides without the heat build-up
- Efficient high power LED’s last up to 50,000 hours
- Linkable connection for up to two PowerBrite LED Modules
- Dimensions: 12” x 1 ½” x ¾”
- O.35 Amps
- 12 W Maximum LED Load
- Promotes strong and healthy coral, invertebrate and plant growth
