Tangit PVC-U is a ready for use adhesive for PVC-U. PVC-U means it’s for hard PVC piping that you can pick up at any Home Depot or Lowe’s.
This is a very popular product in Europe that we haven’t heard much until now. Professional aquarium installers and maintenance personnel love this stuff. Perhaps they will take over the North American market as well? If you want to try some out your most likely going to have to coax a European supplier to ship you some over. Expect to pay about $20 with the euro  exchange rate. Who said keeping a reef aquarium was cheap? Click the read link for official blurb from Tangit.

Additional Information.

Tangit PVC-U is a special and ready for use adhesive for the water resistant gluing of PVC-U (hard). The adhesive fulfills DIN 16970. Clean both surface ends thoroughly with Tangit Cleanser and clean tissue paper. Apply an even layer of adhesive (fitting thin, pipe heavier coated) in an axial direction with a brush. Assemble the parts within 4 minutes (at 20°C) without turning, and hold firmly for a few seconds. Remove excess adhesive The assembled joint should not be disturbed for 5 minutes (below 10°C – 15 min.). For a pressure test wait at least 24 hours, in case of a repair wait 1 hour per bar

I think the “wow” factor on this product, must be that it’s in a tube instead of the typical wide mouth jar.

If you look on the manufacturer’s website (Henkle) they only picture the jar variant (more similar to the Oatey product). It’s my guess that the no-mess tube (very welcome, IMO!!) is made especially for the aquarium trade (Tunze and possibly others).
