Mogul based metal halide LED replacement lamp installs in any fixture, canopy or retro fit. No ballast needed. It runs off of a standard household wall plug 120 VAC. Amazing output, no heat transfer to the tank, instant on, bulb can be rotated to direct light output where ever you need it.  As with Metal Halide bulbs, you will need one bulb / 2ft of tank length to get proper coverage. This is the brightest PAR values we have seen yet.  Retail is said to be about $370, these are shipping in 2-3 weeks.
