It wont actually make your tank any colder, but it might make your inhabitants happier. Reef snow, a new product from Tropic marine is a concentrated powder that when mixed with RO/DI forms a nice thick snow layer that can easily be absorbed by filter feeders and corals’ polyps. Since Reef Snow is a prebiotic food, it promotes the natural intestinal flora and thus also helps prevent the spread of unwanted bacteria. We don’t have a release date, or price but we did hear it was shipping already. Stay on the look out and bring your shovel in case the snow gets thick!
