The mogul based LED light from Coral Dyamics which we reported on a couple weeks back has showed up on CoralDynamics.com with a name and a webpage. The new light will be known as the AquariumLED or ALED. We are pleased to see this light compared reasonably to a 175w halide which we feel is a fair comparison. Stats from the webpage still place the bulb around $369 with PAR values of 200-230 through 12″ of water. The new device appears to be a good value with reasonable performance. All we need now is to get a thorough review from Sanjay and this could be one of the hottest new breakthroughs in aquarium LED lights.
