Ocean Force is a new line of skimmers from My reef Creations. These models OF100, OF200, and OF200 can range from 100 gallons to 260 gallons. The OF100 model has a height of 22″, uses a 6520 needlewheel pump and consumes an easy 18 watts. The OF200 has a height of 25″ uses a 6530 needlewheel pump and is rated up to 175 gallons while using only 27 watts. The OF300 consumes 40 watts while using a 6540 needlwheel pump and having a height of 25.5″. The OF300 is rated for tanks up to 260 gallons. Like the entire Ocean Force line these skimmers all play nice with ozone. Interesting too is a included bubble plate on all models stated to reduce turbulance and produce “dense foam”. These have begun shipping to dealers and we wouldn’t be to surprised if we saw these arriving at your local dealers very soon. No word on any pricing but we doubt that will be to far behind.

Let me point out here that as far as we know these skimmers have never even been tested. There is no mention of the air or water volume produced and by looking at the way the pump is aimed right at the bubble plate, its clear that MRC does not really understand what turbulence is or how the bubble plate is supposed to function, they are merely following the bubble plate trend.
