about Reef Builders

Reef Builders is an online community dedicated to reef tanks. Our popular reef blog informs reef hobbyists about popular reef equipment and the saltwater industry in general. We have discussion forums where you can talk about your reef tank, ask questions and receive help from reef community members. If you are just starting out in the saltwater aquarium world, reef aquarists have found that the Beginners Guide to Saltwater Aquariums and Tanks has been helpful in starting their journey towards reef keeping.
This thing was constructed on December 15, 2008, and it was categorized as Reef Aquarium.

Another great issue of Advanced Aquarist went online today. As expected, there are great submissions from the usual crew. Dana Riddle reports on a coral growth lighting study recently published in the journal Aquaculture. Our pal Chris Jury presents a monolithic overview of the carbonate system in reef aquariums, and it’s only part 1! Mark Evans shares a little bit about conducitvity and Jay Hemdal gives an overview of resources for aquarium hobbyists to learn more information about reef tanks in general. Major kudos to all the authors but we’re keeping an eye on Jay Hemdal who failed to specifically mention ReefBuilders as the best resource for hobbyist to learn about reef aquarium news.
