dubai

With all of the game-changing construction and development projects going on in Dubai, UAE, it was only a matter of time before the Las Vegas of the Middle East laid claim to another “World’s Largest” title related to aquariums. Set in the heart of the Burj-Dubai Mall (also the world’s largest), the Dubai Aquarium features the world’s largest aquarium viewing panel. At 108 feet long by 27 feet high, the Dubai Aquarium bests the previous record holder, the Osaka Aquarium by  no less than 3o feet. The size of the aquarium itself is not the only source of news. Just like that guy you know who has a shark tank and way too much money, the Dubai Aquarium is absolutely packed with fish including rays and very aggressive sharks. The sand tiger sharks in particular have been causing problems for killing and eating many other fish and sharks and even making passes at some of the maintenance divers.
