We have confirmation that Warner Marine’s newest warp drive protein skimmer, the K1 will be releasing either in Late February, or early March of  2009. Also to it is expected to come in as a  8″ mini cone skimmer with a detuned Sicce mounted underneath the base of  the skimmer. That detuned Sicce pump will be  pulling about 700LPH. You can get your paws on this thing for only $699, Warner Marine is pushing the VBT technology which is marketing speak for small bubbles, but were always a sucker for marketing, as this model is made in the USA too.

To be taken seriously in this niche US market most consumers will pay for quality but not for proprietary or hard to find European replacement parts such as AquaBee pumps. Looks like a solids design and wish you well on your release.
