It looks like Marine Depot is the first in the US to put a pre-order up for Red Sea’s Max 250 model. A model that is increasingly popular. While we reported the retail price to come in around $1499, Marine Depot is offering it up for $1629.99 with free shipping, most likely bundling in shipping with the price. Shipping a 65 gallon aquarium and stand is by no means cheap. We also confirmed today that the T5 lighting does not come with individual reflectors but it was “designed specifically with the M250 in mind and ensures the lamps work very efficiently.” So there you have it, another common question we have been getting that is now answered. Now, when will the rumored Red Sea Max 250D be confirmed and hitting the market?
Update: Price includes the starter kit which includes everything you need to get started (oral Pro salt, supplements, test kits etc) thanks Steve

The new video of the Max 250 will be available in a couple of days on http://www.redseamax.com. In the meantime check out the website for full specifications of the Red Sea Max 250 & the Max 130D, which is a significantly upgraded version of the original M130.
The Marine Depot price includes not only the M250 & cabinet, but the starter kit which includes everything you need to get started (oral Pro salt, supplements, test kits etc)
