ZEOvit users are rapidly increasing in the world, its no wonder with the bright colors seen glowing under lighting. Colors we only thought were possible in a graphics editing program like Photoshop. However there are draw backs to the system including having to dose enzymes and proteins on different schedules depending on which level you are at. One of the biggest complaints is the ZEOvit reactor itself, the ZEOvit system requires it to be stirred in the morning and generally at night although some users only do this once per day. ATB being smart, decided to fix this annoying problem by designing a reactor (shaped in a cone naturally) that will automatically stir your ZEOlite media. While your mouth continues to drop, we can tell you that ATB is using two pumps (eheim 1250, eheim 1260) with one pump being the main water pusher (eheim 1250), while the other (eheim 1260) becomes active to stir the rocks around. The cone design aids the later pump in stirring the rocks. We have no price or release date, but don’t expect this modern marvel to come cheap. The pictures below point to a hang on model, and were hoping for a sump model too.

I dont know where those pics came from, but the final model is still to be determined. That first pic on top is one of my originals. If you want more current ones, or any info on how it works, let me know.

Oh, and that design is newer… the older one had a flange, more pipes, etc… a PITA. One day this winter it dawned on me that there is really no need for a top flange if the whole top is designed to just overflow like a ‘box’ filter. The cone allows the top to be so large that even with half of it blocked off, the lid is still large enough to just reach in if needed. The design is either HOB or in-sump… that is up to the user.
Some more info about this?
