reef-keeper-lite

In what can be described as a wicked pace, Digital Aquatics has outed the final production model of the Reef Keeper lite. The model which is more refined then its prototype model promises to control your reef for a nay entry price of just $149. The pre-order extravaganza has started and Marine Depot is the first company in which to offer them. What is the release date? Rumors suggest to around mid February, but we will see if that holds true. We were promised a RKM-Net module before the end of last year and we have nothing to show for it…yet. Check out the pic below if your into the whole “high res” thing.

Fair enough on the RKM-NET… While we have started pre-orders on that unit, it was a bit later then we had hoped. We held it up for testing and a little feature creep that we thought, in the long run, would be better for our customers.

Note: Digital Aquatics will NOT start a pre-order without knowing the solid ship date of a product! Now that we’ve started the pre-orders for the RKL systems, we will hold firm to our posted ship date, just we will with the NET! :)

Great pricepoint. A controller I can afford and not get whacked in the head by the finance for spending hundreds of dollars with my few few fish and handful of coral frags! Can’t wait to get my hands on one and get a review up on my blog as well.
