If you’ve never had any kind of coral specific pest, you haven’t been reefing long enough. Your corals may be in the clear now but at least once in your reefing future you will inevitably have to face some potentially nasty coral koodies. There are treatments for most of them but just pray you never get AEFW’s (Acro Eating FlatWorms). Like Herpes those who succumb to the AEFW’s will be enslaved by near daily rituals of basting affected areas to keep the infection from spreading. For millenia the poor, helpless reefers cursed with the AEFW plague have been banished to trading with that guy at the frag swap who always only has Xenia. Fear not you loathsome AEFW stricken reefers, now you can join the Living With Acro Eating Flatworm Baster Society and once again swap corally fluids with other reefers who share your burden.
