Vertex has released a new Puratek 100 gallon per day reverse osmosis system that has quite a few nifty features. Instead of having to purchase a separate TDS meter, the Puratek system includes a built in electronic TDS-out meter with automatic back-flush which should help with membrane life and functionality. You can view the pressure with an easy to view oil-filled pressure gauge and take a sigh of relief as you enjoy the 1:1 water/waste ratio thanks to a quiet booster pump which improves efficiency. Of course standard features are included such as a back pressure shut off solenoid for reservoir or tank applications and clear canister casings allowing you to see when your cartridges are dirty. Plumbing connections and a canister wrench are included with this Puratek unit fetching a retail of $300. Available now.
