For some people, going to conferences is all about seeing something new and for others, doing the marine aquarium conference thing is an awesome opportunity build an eye catching display. One of the exhibitors which consitently likes to put on a good show at the events is LiveAquaria of Drs. Foster & Smith. the DFS crew has an awesome triple layered, double zero edge dispay with which they like to display unique aquarium fish and their finest certified captive grown corals. The top tier of the triple deck is usually reserved for some special theme; at times we’ve seen the top chamber filled with anglers and this last go round at MAX the spotlight tank was turned into a mangrove and shrimpfish exhibit. You should see the crowds that gather ’round the LiveAquaria booth and the people that beg to buy some of their corals on site. Although many booths include live displays out of necessity and convention, one look at the LiveAquaria display and you know that more than a spark of aquarium geekery is under the hood. Enjoy the video of the shrimpfish and mangrove display and hats off to the DFS crew for showing a little passion.
