The impending release of UV lighting’s new aquasun series has quite a few of reef hobbyists excited and rightfully so, the aquasun bulbs promise a 10,000 Kelvin temperature coming out of the domestic company. The bulbs above are lit by means of an IceCap retro ballast and the Indigo Sun bulbs are are a nice white with blue tint that has become a quite popular color in the past few years. Obviously, we still need a lot of details to come out (par readings would be a great starter) and of course you’ll know when we do.
