The Red Dragon Mini Bubble Kind 1500 may have the heart of an Askoll/Laguna pump but it has evolved enough unique adaptations that it’s fair to say that this pump is an entirely new species. The ginormous volute alone considerably changes the flow output characteristics of this pump and help it draw upwards of 2000lph of airwhile sipping on a mere 40 watts. Couple the volute with the highest grade titanium and ceramic parts and an effective noise dampening baseplate and you’ll agree that the engine behind the Alpha Kone 250 earns it’s Red Dragon stripes.
