For the amateurs out there, we suppose that is was going to happen, we have seen wall mounted aquariums before but not like this. This wandaquarium from Aquawall is a wall-mountable display intended to provide a low maintenance aquarium experience. What strikes us the most is that this aquarium is being billed as “low maintenance” going so far as to say that water changes are needed once per year. Are they kidding us? Once per year? We suppose they are trying to trick us into the nice design and groovy LCD control panel up front but for $1450 we can think of better ways to spend our hard earned money.

Almost entirely sure that aquascape is photoshopped on there. I think I saw a photo of it somewhere else.
It looks like a microwave
Look, why would that be so hard to believe? We have proven bio spheres, so why not this? Freshwater tank I am assuming, that this is very possible. We have a 120 with plants, couple shrimp, some dwarf plecostomuses, rainbows, etc… using a branded substrate for plants, etc and everything look great and the maintenance has been almost zero. Maintaining the glass has been the main thing we do… this could do that with two wires, a motor and the right cleaning devise!
At the same time, you people put this down you harp about a $1,199 protein skimmer that has 21″ x 20″ footprint! No thank you, I will stick to my DOUBLE the flow rate, AE Tech downdraft protein skimmer that you could fit 4 into the same footprint as that $1,199 behemoth and still save some money!
