Reef Builders is an online community dedicated to reef tanks. Our popular reef blog informs reef hobbyists about popular reef equipment and the saltwater industry in general. We have discussion forums where you can talk about your reef tank, ask questions and receive help from reef community members. ATB had been rumored to be testing a new Mini Airstar pump that would be paired with smaller skimmers with the ATB name on them. AndrĂ© snapped these pictures of what appears is a New Jet 3000 with the large ATB pinwheel with a nice layer of mesh added in. Andre goes on to explain: “I have hooked it up already and for first impressions, it is as silent as the Sicce and it seems to pull more air.” How much air does it pull while burning through how many watts? The questions and more should be answered within the next couple days as Andre has promised us. Until then though, there are additional pictures down below.
