A quick glance at the Elos Europe website and you might notice something missing. The Elos system Mini which is a very popular seller for nano aquariums has vanished from the website. Generally when this happens either Elos is discontinuing the model, or upgrading the model with faster pumps, lighting, and who knows what else. In our opinion Elos is on the brink of upgrading the model, possiblly with a release for Interzoo 2010. With the recent video of a suncolor on top a Elos mini that gives us more reason that an upgrade of some sort is in the works. What would Elos upgrade on the already popular model? Any ideas?
Update: “The new batches of Elos Mini’’s are now coming with the overflows so that when you are looking at the front, crystal pane, you see the thinner profile of the overflow. The only change is in the cabinet which now has a smaller top piece to allow the overflow to sit on the back right side.”

Apparently they’ve changed the position of the overflow to give it a “thinner” profile. This also necessitated the need to change the stands top in order to accommodate plumbing for the new overflow position. I’m surprised they took it off the site for this, but maybe. I’m anxiously awaiting it’s release as I just picked up my ELOS Mini the other day
