Here’s some gratuitous eye candy for the weekend. Above we have the elusive stigmata blenny, Cirripectes stigmaticus, a rarity which is infrequently exported out of Vanuatu. Below, we have a profile pic of a super studly male ‘personifer’ angelfish, Chaetodontoplus meridithi. Both images are from the livestock wholesaler, Sea Dwelling Creatures.

    I’ve had the pleasure of video recording this little blenny on both my diving trips to Vanuatu. It’s usually seen at the top of coral bommies, keeping a wide area of rock free from algae. Very pretty critter.
