eXact-Micro-7+-meterThe Exact Micro 7 Aquarium photometer kit will help you with one of the biggest chores in the saltwater aquarium hobby. Testing your water. Besides the actual process of testing you have to compare the color of the water to the color that is printed on the test sheet. It is a real pain. However, if you were to have this new photometer your life would be that much easier. This photometer can measure: Calcium Hardness, Total Alkalinity, Copper, Nitrite, Nitrate, Ammonia and PH. The kit retails for $369 and can be purchased directly.

Update: Uh oh. It doesn’t test for saltwater aquariums.

Are all of these tests shown in the photo of the Exact photometer compatible and accurate in testing seawater? Both the Hanna Benchtop and LaMotte Spectrophotometers/Colorimeters are primarily geared towards freshwater, and normally things like pH, Alkalinity, Bromine, Magnesium, and Potassium reagents are designed for testing freshwater. Thank you for the explanation.
    Cheers!

    Ryan and Kevin,

Our kit does not test for salt water aquariums, only fresh.

Can you make an ULNS Kit?:

Ca, Alk, Mg, Strontium, Iodine, Fe, K, NO3, and PO4?

I'm probably missing some other cool tests too.

ULNS = Ultra Low Nutrient System; Typically for reefers who vodka/carbon dose.
