GHL has be sporting their new product cachet as of late, with the impending release of their popular ProFilux series of aquarium controllers. We haven’t seen anything yet about the external appearance of this new device but we found something much better. It is an external level sensor that detects the water level through the glass! So throw those silly internal water sensors away, you won’t need them anymore. How does it work? Simply fix to the side of the tank and keep the inside glass clean. It uses Electro magnetic waves to detect the water surface rather than an optical sensor. These sensors have been tested on 3/4″ glass and worked. This should be available within the next two months and will work with current generation ProFilux systems.

Sensing the water level through the glass is such a great idea, I hope this accessory is not limited to use with only GHL controllers.
Wow! Very cool indeed! Im sure it will be a hit at MACNA XXI in Atlanta next month! (if they show it off)
My friend is the rep for Canada and he will have his booth there.
Jake, I believe they are proprietary, but I could be wrong. it's happened before. they have a support forum on reefcentral if you want to find out.
The next MACNA will be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey
As Jake mentioned, MACNA has moved on from Atlanta (last year) to Atlantic City (this year)

The sensor will be there, yes it is only for the GHL system, as always GHL takes the lead with all controller developments just like the latest addition, the Hydor pump controller.
We will have all this on display at the show, plus some great GHL deals.
Oh did I forget to mention the launch of the ProfiLux III also
Forgot to add, the sensor is available now!!
