An anonymous tipster sent us a shot of what they claim to be is Instant Ocean’s new gel based food. The food looks to be Krill (Euphausia pacifica) in some sort of gel. Our guess is that this Gel that is holding the food together would be enriched with added nutrients. And it might very well have the Instant Ocean brand name tagged on it like our tipster says. A dime is being used to show scale and this seems to be a very small piece of food that we really would like to know more about. This looks much better then what we had earlier on Instant Ocean’s new products. Rumors say that we should see this product at MACNA in Atlantic City.

    Looks appetizing!
I sure hope the gelatin would have other nutrients in it. Many people try to squeeze out the water from frozen food to cut down on nitrates/phosphates coming from the suspension liquid. not sure how you could do that with gelatin? I also expect this would need to be refridgerated.
