Tape is your best friend, air leaks are your foe. I was using weather.com for up to the minute weather conditions and fed-ex gives you an aproximate arrival time to gauge the amount of heat/ice (gel) packs you’ll need. At vivid, after bagging a coral I’d rest it on my hand to see how it will sit in the box before gauging water depth, rather than gauging the depth while hanging the bag – Tim

Not a big fan of the homemade cooler box set up. You really need a single piece cooler with a interlocking lid to be effective in extreme temperatures.
