7:35 EST: Matt Pederson won the MASNA award! Congrats!
7:38 EST: Orlando won the next bid for the conference in 2010.

7:40 EST: The Orlando club has taken the stage.

7:42 EST: Orlando is pitching their new hotel. Lots of golf. Sun. And swimming. Its Florida. What did you expect? Oh. $99 a night hotel. $3.50 beer specials. $5.50 drink specials. $29 around trip to the conference. 20% off at all restaurants when using your MACNA badge. Specials with the Epcot The living Seas. (I’ve done this  super cool).

Chicken, potatoes, squash and mushrooms in a dark red wine sauce. (it’s actually quite tasty)

This is a like a Creme Brulee type desert, less rich, with probably way less sugar. Good too. I’m currently looking for left overs….

8:10PM EST: The guest speaker is on stage. Shawdow divers. He is telling the story of  “Two Americans Who Risked Everything to Solve One of the Last Mysteries of World War II” The book is on amazon for $17.79. Very interesting story.

    well as the “live from Macna Blog” abruptly ended after the food post we are all left wandering…. How is the tummy this morning ryan??

    Passed on the banquet this year after lasts years horrible one in ATL> went to http://www.ruthschris.com/ instead and had a great meal :)
