The Profilux III was on display at the MACNA and we got some pictures of it for you. You should already know the specs that we posted up earlier, but you haven’t seen the ProFilux III like this. Besides have an array of ports to connect to as seen in the above photo, you’ll get to see the guts of the ProFilux III. The guts or inner workings of a aquarium controller are always a nice sight to see. This unit will get released in November for $599.

I would love other controller manufacturers to do this as well as open their factory doors for the public to see.

It is important I think for clients to know exactly what they are buying and where their money goes.

Go to the GHL rc forum to see inside GHL`s facility ;)

I had a Profilux Pro II it was my worst purchase ever,
    Way over prices and limited.

I maxed the Profilux out on what I would consider a very simple setup.

The best thing I ever did was to dump the Profilux
and buy a Digital Aquatics ReefKeeper Elite.

The Profilux just could not cut it when I went to a
basement sump as it requires all the wires to connect
back to the head unit. (probes, pumps, lights, etc)

The RKE with the modern bus system let me split my system with
only 1 single wire running from the main display to the sump area.

With the RKE I can hook up far more modules than I
could ever use, and at a far better price.

Best of all the RKE guys who make the RKE are reefers as it shows
with the useful features, not a bunch of wasted features on the Profilux.

ie: storms’ Cool for the first few times then you realize it is a silly feature.
