H20 Life has a new product, Mussels on the half shell, not to be confused with scallops on the half shell. These are uncooked mussels that are all natural and packaged in a nice display bag. These should retail for about $12 per bag, these are the real deal and should be start shipping soon.

Hmmm interesting. Since fresh mussels are only a dollar per pound at the supermarket, these must be way better.

guys please remember that not everyone has easy access to many items that are easily found by some hobbyists in major metro areas.
especially if you happen to live in areas that are somewhat remote.

True enough, however I have a feeling this is aimed for selling a lot, not helping out those in rural areas. Besides I’ve been to rural areas before there isn’t that kind of mark up on goods just because they’re away from the big cities.

I’d be really interested to see some data on how the “phytoplankton enrichment” affects the nutritional profile of the mussels as a food source.
