You remember that fancy canister filter named the Fluval G? Apparently Hagen has decided that only certain local fish stores will be able to carry the Fluval G. If you are a store that gets to carry the Fluval G you’ll get a fancy display that shows water being run through the device as the above video shows. We don’t have much on the Fluval G, not that we haven’t asked Mr. Hagen to give up the goods. Rumors abound that all these fancy-smancy electronics will push the Fluval G past the $300 mark which is a bit insane for a canister filter with a LCD on the front. It will be very interesting to see how the Fluval G stacks up to our marine world.

    Great looking unit, except canister filters are fantastic nitrate factories :(

    But still have always been of fan of Fluval and what they do, they have a big name back in the UK also.

    Canitsters for reef systems though? Hmmmm
