With Aquarium Systems “new” NeWave pump about to hit the American market, the pump has already pushed water for the rest of the world. Available in Europe and the UK, we got a non-American model in here to RB HQ. This is the NeWave model 1000, which is the smallest pump that comes in the NeWave line of prop style pumps and pushes a respectable 750-1400 lph eating up a really low 2.5 watts.  Hit the read link below to see the full gallery of one of the newest pumps in all its glory. And like always, we will have a review of this pump in a few weeks time.

Man that’s a small pump, although I must admit I got overly excited originally when I saw 1400 lph as I thought it was gph! Damn you metric people! Damn you!

this is a well stylized pump, I like the compactness of it but that green color choice for the propeller is a little bit peculiar.

Yeah, also is it me or is the shape of that impeller a tad odd looking. Can’t say I’ve seen anything that looks like it.
